Stops on hold + Bonus market commentary

Brown Technical Insights is off next week but recent market action warrants additional commentary.
First, all Blue Chip Hot List stops are on hold. Our stops are meant for individual risk management but when a market correction hits, all our positions are susceptible to being stopped out. For long-term (but still active and tactical) investors, this is almost never the right decision and not in the spirit of the list. It was the right decision in August (on what turned out to be the low) and I believe it will be again.
