August updates to the Blue Chip Hot List

Good morning,

July was a strong month for the Blue Chip Hot List. Six of our nine holdings delivered positive returns, and seven outperformed the S&P 500’s slight decline since our last update on July 2. The average return (+2.9%) also handily bested the index.

Four stocks were removed mid-month, for an average gain of 11.5% and average outperformance of +7.6% vs. the S&P 500.
