November was a tough month for momentum strategies, and many of our stock picks suffered larger pullbacks than the index did.
However, basic behavioral finance helped to dampen the blow, and since November 20 (when we declared stops on hold), seven of the nine holdings are positive, and five of the nine have outperformed SPX since our last official update on November 6.
