October was a stock-pickers’ month, and for the most part, the Blue Chip Hot List delivered. The five stocks we took profits on or cut losses in mid-month outperformed the S&P 500 by 3.3%, boosted in large part by a 59% gain in Illumina.
The six stocks still on the list performed even better, beating the index (+0.29%) with an average gain of 10.7% since our last update on October 1.
