Long-term subscribers might remember my first tagline, “Investment strategy for investment advisors”.
While I’ve changed it to something a little more inviting to our nonprofessional friends, make no mistake, investment advisors will always be at the center of what I do around here.
And while I’m as pure of a technician as they come when it comes to my market inputs, some aspects of my background do trump “technicals”.
The most important of which is:
Don’t panic sell.
It’s Behavioral Finance 101. If you’re a financial advisor, you preach it to your clients. If you’re a retail investor, you know it’s the #1 rule whether you always follow it or not.
