Good morning,
Futures and risk assets in general are under pressure this morning, as oil has resumed its rise after bouncing off the 50-DMA last week.
The million-dollar question heading into this week is:
Can the market of stocks stop falling?
As discussed in The Weekender, the market of stocks has most certainly experienced a seasonal correction, even if the indexes haven’t felt it. The calendar turns bullish this week, and the largest tech stocks are already breaking out.
But oil continues to be the tail that wags the dog for the rest of the market, and pre-market action is further proof that catching a falling knife isn’t wise.
